I still have my feet on the ground, I just wear better shoes.

With that quote from Oprah Winfry in mind, we look at shoes today. I know my previous post was on shoes but hey, one can never get enough of them! And I saw this and I knew I just had to post it here.

Presenting to you the Electra Montana, the mother of our bondage oops sorry, bandage footwear. I really love the idea of footwear as a kind of art and this is it. Very very nice. There's more from larare here

And when I saw these tights from Oroblu, I couldn't help but be bowled over by its similarity to the Electra Montana. So I placed it here.

This pair by Sergio Rossi could have looked like a paint job gone wrong, but on the contrary, it looks absolutely gorgeous. I always love the contrast between black and white, but spare me the stripes and mod blocks of colour and give me this pair instead.

Who will shoe your foot my love?

With a slew of bandage and gladiator footwear popping up everywhere, even I can't help myself but be drawn to it.

Here are a few of my picks plus some non-bandage ones that are so gorgeous, I'm sure you wouldn't mind.

Jimmy Choo's! The gold zip offers a subtle glam touch to this wardrobe staple.

Sergio Rossi's baby blue offering with a zip feature on the back all the way down to the heels.

I'm loving the detailed panel on this Balmain pair. Very rock-chic and so glam!

Fendi's basket front shoe booties in black suede.

Lace-front platforms in grey by Givenchy. Luxurious, and guaranteed to suit all your monochrome outfits and some.

Add a pop of crayola colour to your ensemble with this pair of crossed slingback heels from Marni.

I really really adore this pair of patent pumps from Miu Miu, especially its whipstitch detail on the back of the heel and the side of the sole. Tempting.

Big Jewellery

I'm a fan of big jewellery, huge earrings, large rings, chunky bracelets, you name it. However, this tops it all. Elizaveta is a jewellery designer and she specialises in making huge, and I mean really huge ornaments! Check this out:

Real Life Looks

I love these portraits from The Sartorialist:

I love the navy/white combination with the pairing of brown leather loafers. Very sharp!

Looks like she came off the set of Grease. Very cool.

And also, these wearable looks by Kate Hudson and Keira Knightley (doesn't she look so different from her normal street wear attire?)

Oh and if you ever saw her...

My picks from Monique Lhuillier's Resort 2009 collection including a very lovely maxi dress.

Burberry Prorsum's collection featured the belted cardigan over dress look. Very wearable I must say. Lekeliene Stange looks great!

Go doll-like in itsy-bitsy tube dresses from Erin Fetherson (featuring printed chiffon) and Thakoon:
