Hmm...what should I wear today

I'm so lusting right now. The amount of great dresses walking down the runways has me practically salivating over the keyboard. And all so wearable! Hurray for the common man!

Donna Karan has the absolute darlingness in caramel colored confections that I know I will wear and keep wearing.

This floaty concoction is my answer to balmy nights at One Rochester.

I love the neckline. I love the belt that cinches in the waist. I love the fabric and I love the skirt. I'm in love.

This is something different. It looks almost as if it is a blouse and skirt combo. Love the silhouette. I'm so in love...

Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B collection just rocks your style palette, mixing it all up with mod, sweet and funky all on one runway.
Sweet L.A.M.B

(almost) Missoni L.A.M.B
Wouldn't you agree? Am digging the bag!

Disco L.A.M.B
(only Ms Stefani can pull off those knee highs in this outfit)

Mod L.A.M.B

Jackets are du rigour at Armani Prive. I love the detailing. Good for work, especially if you're in that cold office day after day. What better to break the monotony by having your colleagues ooh and aah over that totally yummalicious and workable jacket. Yes, work it out..

Finally, these fabulous dresses are perfect for that weekend when you wanna get out and see the world. Sunnies on and we're set to go! Oh but first, take off those shoes. Fawn boots with peep toes?! What were you thinking?

This is the season for scarves - draped over the shoulder or loosely tied around one's neck. I think this combo of scarf over a mod satiny dress over leggings with sneakers is just awesome. Great for those cool monsoon-season days/nights. Athletic and sassy and definitely not boring!

This is so un-Dolce and Gabbana and I'm so loving it! An autumn palette that is, in turns sweet and womanly. I would pair this with a clutch for nights out or a handbag carelessly slung across for that bout of retail therapy I've been promising myself.

This sultry off-shoulder dress by Collette Dinnigan will be my perfect companion when I next head out for drinks. Pair it with a vintage leather clutch and chandelier earrings and I'm set to go!

I love this Pucci print on this billowy frock. Take me to the beach now! Only sun goddesses need apply.

A black A-line tubedress can never go wrong, especially for gals heavy at the hips. This is so scintillatingly simple yet sexy. (Behraz Sarafpour)

I absolutely love dresses with pockets. They portray a feeling of nonchalance, that take-it-in-your-stride attitude. The black bow adds that special touch to this creation by Carolina Herrera.

Warning: Party Season Fast Approaching

Its that time of the year again, of whirlwind parties and birthdays and what nots. I was wondering the other day why so many of my friend's birthdays are in the latter part of the year. Then i started counting 9 months ahead...ahem Valentines and New's Year Day anyone?

Okay getting back to the topic at hand (god knows I could probably go on for ages). Here are my picks for party dresses this season - 13 party dresses in all! This is installment number 1 of course, too many party dresses to post at one go! Oh and yes, please please do get at least two party dresses for this season - you don't want to turn up at a birthday party in the same dress you did at last week's company cocktail dinner only to realize your colleague has seen you in it! Oh boo!

This is a fun number by Armani Prive. I'm loving the colour contrast, but hating the hat. A top hat would have been fine. Oui?

Sweet dreams are made of this. And the best part? Away with those heels. This looks good any night with sparkling sandals. (Badgley Mischka)

This is very simple. But oh so sweet. (Behnaz Sarafpour)

Great print that could only be Missoni. Ditch the fur though. And I'd pair this with boots to give it more oomph.

Easily one of my favourite top ten of this season. Yes I love gold and I'm not afraid to admit it. This one by Donna Karan. Oh so wearable from day to night.

Okay, so you want understated glamour. Try this great tube dress by Calvin Klein. Clean lines and ooh, that lovely teal.

I love this look! A head-turner, this will put you in a way-out different league amongst all the well-dressed women. Love! (Naeem Khan)

What say you to a sari? This one by Naeem Khan is a keeper. I love the gold details and the one-shoulder is just perfect.

Finally, some frivolity and fun. I love this Erdem dress. Guaranteed conversation piece (minus the hat of course) I would pair this with higher strappy heels.

White and black the Jonathan Saunders way. Not so much mod and much more cool chic. Something is missing though. I think she's lacking a top hat, thats what.

Go sexy goth in this black hot number by Jens Laugesen.
Dark eyes and nude glossy lips a must. Oh and the hair on the model's hot.

The glitterati is in town! Absolutely love this one by Missoni.

Be an angel in white in this Fendi number. I'm digging the belt!

Walk In Wardrobe

The suitechic absolutely adores this divine ensemble.
Red satin polka-dotted camisole teamed with a rare find -
a 1940s pleated skirt. Waist is cinched with a
navy belt with a huge gold buckle from the 1980s.
Absolutely gorgeous.

Nanette Lepore!

The SuiteChic is back after a very very long hiatus. Indeed, what could have drawn her out but for Nanette Lepore's Spring collection. To-die-for dresses...here are her picks:
Two classic LBDs she's a-loving

Bring this along on your vacation.
You can't go wrong in this pretty print.

A great bell-shaped dress in classic black and white.
Cinch at the waist and you're ready to go

Fresh blue in the form of a tulip-skirted dress. Nice!

Shiny mustard yellow dress, with its flowing skirt.
Absolute lightness of heart.
